I love how versatile the Sappho Pressed Powder is. It can be brushed over the face for a light coverage. Or applied lightly after applying the foundation. Depending on whether you desire a light or more heavier coverage. What's truly amazing is how the mica doesn't get in to my fine lines. Sappho is proof that you can't look at an ingredient list to determine how it will function on the skin as every other brand that I've tried that contains mica makes me look aged by exacerbating my fine lines (not the desired result for sure). Sappho is THAT amazing!
There are so many things to love about Sappho Cosmetics: the natural and organic formulations, the luxurious packaging, the silky feeling of the products when applied to the skin, the way they improve skin health and beauty (as opposed to clogging pores and causing breakouts that other brands do), and most of all, Sappho gives brilliant natural-looking makeup finishes for all skin types. If you're looking for a cosmetic line that ticks all the boxes then Sappho is it. - Samantha Sargent, founder of Be Naturallyou
Apply this pressed powder using a soft fluffy brush or a powder puff to set makeup or eliminate shine. Can also be applied to contour using a shader brush.
These work well for setting and mattifying makeup, applied overall, and can be used strategically in places to neutralise high oily shine.
Pro Tip: Always take a little colour off your brush before applying any powder as then you have more control over the product going onto the skin. It is always easier to add colour than take it away, especially since ours are so fully pigmented.
