Who is Meow Meow Tweet suitable for?
Everyone. Women. Men. All ages. All skin concerns. Hormonal. Sensitive. Ageing. Environmentally stressed.
Meow Meow Tweet will be especially suitable (and cherished) by those on a budget. Everything in the range is under $50.
And … if you’re a lover of ethical brands who strive to make a difference, then Meow Meow Tweet is for you. Most of the packaging is post-consumer-waste cardboard which biodegrades easily. And when cardboard isn’t suitable (i.e. for oil based products) the choice is glass.
All products are made with organic, unrefined plant oils and butters, steam-distilled and cold-pressed essential oils and organic and wild-crafted botanicals. We pride ourselves on being a vegan brand, and use no animal-derived ingredients. Meow Meow Tweet is Leaping Bunny cruelty-free certified.
A firm belief in taking care of the planet-- as well as our skin and ourselves-- means that Meow Meow Tweet is committed to using the least amount of plastic packaging. All goods are either hand wrapped in PCW paper or housed in glass containers. Each of the colourful labels features whimsical illustrations by one of our co-founders, Jeff.
Though we started in Brooklyn, NY, we relocated to the Hudson Valley in the beautiful Catskill Mountains during the winter of 2015. Surrounded by nature, we continue to find inspiration to infuse into our cherished brand.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are your products or ingredients tested on animals?
NO! Our products are certified cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny.
Are your products vegan?
YES! And so are we! So you can always expect the highest and most ethical standards when it comes to sourcing and testing our ingredients. Seriously, what would you expect from a company called Meow Meow Tweet?
Do you use Fair Trade ingredients?
Yes! Our cocoa butter, shea butter, coconut oil and coffee are all fair trade.
Does your baking soda contain aluminum?
Baking soda NEVER contains aluminum. We use Bobs Red Mill which is mined naturally in Colorado - however that aluminum free claim on their packaging is a little misleading. In short, it's baking POWDER that you're thinking of.
